Terms of Use

Effective date: August 1, 2026
Last updated: August 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of the terms

These Website Terms of Use govern access to and use of www.dominotacs.com and the public website pages, content, forms, features, and resources operated by Domino Tax Accounting Services LLC.

By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

Do not use the website if you do not agree to them.

2. About Domino

Domino Tax Accounting Services LLC provides professional services that may include:

  • Tax preparation;
  • Tax planning;
  • Bookkeeping;
  • Payroll support;
  • QuickBooks advisory;
  • Financial-record organization; and
  • Small-business support services.

The availability, scope, price, and terms of any service are determined through a separate written engagement or service agreement.

3. Informational website only

Public website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

The website is not a substitute for advice based on a complete review of your individual or business circumstances.

Tax laws, filing requirements, administrative guidance, accounting standards, deadlines, and financial conditions may change. Website information may not reflect the latest change or apply to your situation.

4. No professional relationship created

Viewing the website, submitting a contact form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, scheduling an introductory consultation, or receiving general information does not by itself create:

  • An accountant-client relationship;
  • A tax-preparer-client relationship;
  • A fiduciary relationship;
  • An attorney-client relationship; or
  • Any other professional engagement.

A professional relationship begins only when:

  1. Domino agrees in writing to provide identified services;
  2. All required onboarding and identity-verification steps are completed;
  3. The applicable engagement letter or agreement is accepted; and
  4. Any required deposit or payment arrangement is completed.

Domino may decline an inquiry or engagement where permitted by law.

5. No legal or investment advice

Domino does not provide legal advice merely by publishing website content.

Unless expressly stated in a written engagement, Domino does not provide:

  • Legal representation;
  • Securities advice;
  • Investment management;
  • Insurance advice;
  • Estate-planning legal services; or
  • Representation before a court or government agency.

Consult an appropriately licensed professional for legal, investment, or other specialized advice.

6. User responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Review information before submitting it;
  • Respond promptly to reasonable requests;
  • Maintain copies of your records;
  • Protect portal credentials and devices;
  • Notify Domino of errors or changed information;
  • Observe applicable filing and payment deadlines; and
  • Use the website only for lawful purposes.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you provide and for decisions made using general website information.

7. Contact forms and confidential information

The general contact form is intended only for introductory inquiries.

Do not enter or attach:

  • Social Security numbers;
  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers;
  • Employer Identification Numbers;
  • Bank-account or payment-card information;
  • Tax returns;
  • W-2, 1099, or payroll files;
  • Government identification documents;
  • Portal passwords; or
  • Other confidential financial records.

Submitting confidential information through an unapproved method is at your own risk.

Domino will provide instructions for an approved secure document-submission method when appropriate.

8. Client portals and electronic services

A secure client portal, electronic-signature service, payment platform, or third-party application may be subject to additional terms.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping usernames and passwords confidential;
  • Enabling multifactor authentication where available;
  • Preventing unauthorized device access;
  • Logging out after use;
  • Verifying uploaded documents;
  • Providing current contact information; and
  • Reporting suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Do not share portal credentials with another person unless Domino expressly authorizes it.

9. Appointments and consultations

Appointment availability is not guaranteed.

Submitting a preferred date or time does not confirm an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only after Domino provides confirmation.

Domino may reschedule or cancel an appointment because of availability, incomplete information, security concerns, conflicts, emergencies, or other reasonable circumstances.

Any consultation fee, deposit, cancellation rule, refund term, or no-show fee will be disclosed before it applies.

10. Payments

Where online payments are available:

  • You authorize the payment processor to charge the selected payment method;
  • You agree to provide accurate billing information;
  • Payment processing may be governed by the processor’s terms;
  • Payment does not expand the scope of an engagement; and
  • Fees for completed work may be nonrefundable except as stated in the applicable agreement or required by law.

Domino does not directly store complete payment-card details when payment is handled by an independent processor.

11. Permitted use

You may access the website for personal or legitimate business purposes relating to Domino’s services.

You may print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own noncommercial reference, provided that you do not remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

12. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to an account, server, database, or system;
  • Interfere with website operation or security;
  • Introduce malware or harmful code;
  • Scrape or harvest personal information;
  • Impersonate another person;
  • Submit false, misleading, or abusive information;
  • Use automated systems to overload or copy the website;
  • Circumvent access controls;
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • Use website content to misrepresent professional credentials; or
  • Assist another person in prohibited conduct.

13. Intellectual property

The website and its original content, including text, graphics, designs, branding, page layouts, and downloadable materials, are owned by or licensed to Domino and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

“Domino Tax Accounting Services LLC,” its logo, slogan, and related branding may not be used without prior written permission.

Third-party names, logos, software names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Submissions and feedback

When you voluntarily provide nonconfidential feedback or suggestions about the website or services, you grant Domino permission to use that feedback without compensation or attribution.

This provision does not authorize Domino to publicly disclose confidential tax, accounting, financial, or identifying information.

15. Third-party content and links

The website may link to:

  • Government websites;
  • Tax resources;
  • Scheduling services;
  • Maps;
  • Videos;
  • Social-media platforms;
  • Payment processors;
  • Software vendors; or
  • Other third-party services.

A link does not constitute endorsement or guarantee.

Domino does not control third-party content, availability, terms, privacy, security, or accessibility.

16. Website availability

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any public website feature.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be available;
  • Content will be error-free;
  • Every defect will be corrected immediately;
  • The website will be free from every harmful component; or
  • A third-party integration will remain available.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

Domino disclaims implied warranties relating to the public website, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement, except where such a disclaimer is prohibited by law.

Nothing in this section limits an express obligation contained in a signed professional engagement.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Domino will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages resulting solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website.

This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that applicable law prohibits Domino from limiting.

Professional-service liability is governed by the applicable engagement agreement and law, not solely by these public Website Terms.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Domino harmless from third-party claims arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the website;
  • Your material violation of these terms;
  • Information you submit while impersonating another person;
  • Your infringement of another person’s rights; or
  • Malicious activity conducted through your device or account.

This provision does not require indemnification for Domino’s own unlawful conduct.

20. Privacy

Use of the website is also governed by our:

  • Privacy Policy and Financial Privacy Notice;
  • Cookie Policy;
  • Accessibility Statement; and
  • Tax and Accounting Disclaimer.

21. Electronic communications

By submitting an inquiry, you consent to receiving communications reasonably related to that inquiry.

Consent to receive promotional email or text messages will be requested separately where required. You may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe or opt-out method provided in the communication.

Email and text communications may not be completely secure. Do not use ordinary email or text messaging to send confidential tax or financial records.

22. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.

Any dispute concerning the public website shall be brought in a state or federal court with lawful jurisdiction over Gaithersburg, Maryland, unless another venue is required by law or agreed in writing.

Nothing in these terms prevents an eligible party from bringing a claim in small-claims court or exercising a nonwaivable statutory right.

23. Severability

If a provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

24. No waiver

A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

25. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically.

The revised terms will be posted with an updated date. Continued use after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
